چکیده

Abstract. Ensuring sustainable strategies to manage water resources in karst reservoirs requires a better understanding of the mechanisms responsible for conduits formation rock mass and development detection methods these hydrological geochemical processes. In this study, we monitored electrical conductivity two limestone core samples during controlled dissolution experiments. We interpret results with physics-based model describing porous medium as effective structural parameters that are tortuosity constrictivity. obtain constrictivity is more affected by calcite compared tortuosity. Based on our experimental data sets from literature, show characteristic Johnson length valuable witness impact linking properties.

Direct geoelectrical evidence of mass transfer at the laboratory scale

[1] Previous field-scale experimental data and numerical modeling suggest that the dual-domain mass transfer (DDMT) of electrolytic tracers has an observable geoelectrical signature. Here we present controlled laboratory experiments confirming the electrical signature of DDMT and demonstrate the use of time-lapse electrical measurements in conjunction with concentration measurements to estimate...

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
